Pioneering technology

A national treasure,
in a digital record.

At Thổ Sâm Việt Nam, technology does not live in the boardroom — it lives beneath the forest canopy. The three layers of technology below exist so that a promise about origin becomes something you can verify.

Tissue culture

Tissue culture

Ginseng seedlings are propagated from our tissue-culture lab in Lâm Đồng — genetically uniform, disease-free, and easing the pressure of harvesting wild seedling stock from the forest.

Microclimate sensors

Microclimate sensors

Stations measuring humidity, temperature and diffused light are placed right beneath the forest canopy. The data feeds models that forecast the flowering season and the optimal leaf-thinning schedule for each plot.

Identity ledger

Identity ledger

Each plant receives an identity code from the moment it is planted. Every event — feeding, thinning, photographs, harvest — is written to a distributed ledger that cannot be altered after the fact. The code follows the product all the way into your hands.

Traceability chain

From garden coordinates to the QR code on the box

Scan the code on any product and you see: the source ginseng plant and the coordinates of its garden plot, its caretaker, the seasonal growth journal, the harvest date and the processing batch. There is no blind spot at any stage.

  2. GrowthCare journal + sensor data
  3. HarvestRecord the season, the harvester, the weight
  4. ProcessingThe plant code is linked to the product batch code
